Founding Member Preorder Terms

Effective August 28, 2026

A preorder for a product still in engineering validation—not a donation, investment, equity purchase or crowdfunding contribution.

1. The product and current stage

OptimRise V1 is a consumer-wellness product in development. Engineering-validation hardware exists, but the production product, final specifications and photobiological safety testing are not complete. OptimRise will not ship until required product-specific safety validation is complete.

2. Your two payment options

$10 reservation. Your fully refundable $10 payment reserves a pair from the first production run and is applied to the $199 founding-member price. OptimRise will provide an updated production status and shipping window before requesting the remaining $189. The balance will not be charged automatically without your separate authorization.

$199 paid in full. Your fully refundable $199 payment covers the complete founding-member product price. Nothing further is due before shipment after checkout. Any applicable tax is calculated and disclosed as part of today’s Stripe payment.

3. Estimated shipping and delays

The current estimated shipping window is January through March 2027. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, and depends on engineering, production and safety validation.

If OptimRise cannot ship within the estimated window, we will notify you and offer a clear choice: accept the revised shipping window or cancel for a full and prompt refund. If you do not consent when consent is required, we will cancel and refund the unshipped order.

4. Cancellation and refunds before shipment

You may cancel at any time before shipment for a full refund of preorder payments. Request a cancellation by emailing patrick@optimrise.co from the address used at checkout. Refund timing may depend on the payment method and Stripe’s processing time, but OptimRise will initiate an approved refund promptly.

5. Current checkout availability

The paid-in-full checkout is currently configured for U.S. shipping addresses. Applicable tax is calculated at checkout. The $10 reservation checkout does not collect a shipping address; availability will be confirmed before the remaining balance is requested.

6. Changes to the product

Because OptimRise remains in development, the frame, optical system, electronics, controls, charging method, sizing, compatibility, packaging and other specifications may change before production. We will communicate material changes. You may cancel for a full refund before shipment if a change no longer works for you.

7. Post-shipment terms

Final post-shipment return and warranty policies are not yet published. They must be supplied before fulfillment. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

These terms govern the OptimRise founding-member preorder. Stripe’s checkout and payment-processing terms also apply to the payment service it provides.
